Daybreak - The Old Gate

The Old Gate was the primary health checkpoint constructed during the plague. This gate and the walls that went up were intended to keep plague-ridden refugees from entering the city. In the end, sickness managed to find its way past the first wall, but was stopped at this checkpoint. The architecture was modest compared to pre-plague architecture, but now it is a memorial of earlier times, and is simply called "The Old Gate".
